Sheryl Underwood is an American comedian, TV host and actor best known for hosting the popular daily talk show The Talk. Sheryl Underwood was born in Arkansas and grew up in Little Rock, Atwater, as well as Atwater. Sheryl is a member of a troubled family. She was a lot of her youth taking care of Frankie. Frankie suffered from an illness called polio. While growing up, Sheryl experienced many issues with her mom. Sheryl states that in an incident, she was stabbed by her father because he was getting too close to her. Sheryl was a soldier right after her graduation from her college. However, her love for comedy was always there. The show was named the first female winner of the Miller Lite Comedy Search, which was held in 1989. Her first TV career in 1992 appearing as a frequently performing actor on HBO's comedy program Def Comedy Jam. The show was hosted by her Oh Drama! in 2000. In 2011, she's co-hosting the Talk Show. In addition, she has appeared on fictional programs like Bulworth Niki as well as Beauty Shop.
